LCD Digital TV

Most LCD digital TV models feature HDTV technology, which is one of the main reasons they are so popular. Digital technology allows for a much higher screen resolution than traditional tube-type analog TVs. Analog TVs usually have a horizontal resolution limited to 480 horizontal lines. LED sets produce brighter images and use less power than LCD sets. LED sets also have a higher dynamic contrast ratio, which is an indication of the difference between the lightest and the darkest pixels being shown on the screen. Their higher dynamic contrast ratio allows them to show more detail in images with bright highlights and deep shadows. A higher dynamic contrast ratio typically means better overall image quality.
